This place nice ambience and food is good too. Although for my order I have to wait a little longer (I arrived at the restaurant at 9:15 PM and they take last order at 9:30 pm). Food was delicious and staff was courteous only thing I did not like the dinner plate they use, dinner plate has a design which makes the plate look dirty unless you see it closely. This place is very close to downtown area so if you want to enjoy Indian food its close by. There is no free parking available so either you have to park in paid parking lot and find a spot on the road with metered parking.
I went to this place with high expectations after reading the reviews in Google. However I was disappointed. To begin with, the place is small and has a weird orientation with the two separate sections. Service isn't great, just okay- the folks seemed to forget the customers while serving both the sections. Worst part was the food quality especially at the price they were charging. I tried the Tandoori platter which came with shrimp, salmon, chicken and lamb - nothing tasted great and the sauce they served with the meat/fish was not appropriate. I ordered a laccha paratha and what came out basically looked and tasted like a butter naan. Finally the Chilli Paneer was terrible - I have never seen an Indian place use that kind of a chilli paste to make Paneer. Not recommended.
The food was AMAZING however the service was not..... The three of us ordered one biryani and one butter chicken because we were informed that the food was family style and there would be plenty. We soon ran out of food and wanted to order more, however our waiter was nowhere to be found. We hung around for another 15 minutes before I decided to inquire with the bartender - he informed us that our waiter was probably upstairs with the rest of the wait staff. At this point we decided to leave and the bartender comp-ed us the meal. Quite honestly I am willing to give this place another try because the food was delicious.
Chef Harish prepared a really good 3 course meal for us. Loved the malai kofta with butter and garlic naan. If you enjoy fusion food, then this place is a must try.
Delicious Indian food on E Fremont with a nice atmosphere. Service is a little slow, but the food is worth the wait. Just order an appetizer or a drink. Large portions, we both ended up getting to-go boxes. I got a spice level of 6 and was very happy with my dish, the Chicken Vindaloo.
