Great quality burger with real cheese that actually melts! Very simple menu with just burgers and sodas so you won't spend all night ordering. I ordered 2 singles, 2 doubles, and 4 sodas for $25. Not cheap but not ridiculous either. Great model for social distancing because there's not much contact with anything. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is you don't get napkins with a very greasy burger and the parking lot is VERY TIGHT! Be sure to bring the smallest vehicle that you own! THERE IS NO RESTROOM OR TRASHCANS so come prepared. UPDATE: Now called Snappy Burger. Better movies now. Customers that leave their headlights on are RUDE and ruin the experience. Would be nice if someone walked around to monitor this.
This place has the coolest setup. Drive through, grab your food, then pull up to the drive in for some good old-fashioned fun. The burgers are yummy (although very greasy), the fries are nice and crunchy, and the sodas are all in glass bottles for a cool, retro feel. Be prepared if you order the Snappy Ice (slushee) - it's HUGE! Easily split between two or more people. The menu is pretty basic, and the multiple reviews on here expressing concern for the large amount of onions are correct - though they said they could not give "light onion" - we would have to pick some off. Not a big deal; I'm sure they do that to streamline service and make sure it moves quickly (which it does!) The only reason there are not five stars are due to the attitude of the girl working at the ordering station. Having been our first time here, we took a minute to figure out the menu. She was clearly not happy with us even though there was no one else in front or behind us. We apologized for not being very familiar with the menu, but I don't know that it helped. Hopefully her day got a little better after we left! Overall, this is an amazing stop for nostalgic adults or anyone with young kids who want a cheap source of family friendly entertainment. I'll definitely be back with all of our nephews and nieces!
This little gem is a great place to get a burger and fries without the thrills and extras that most burger places have nowadays. The single screen drive in theatre is a great touch and provides some free entertainment while you eat. Wonderful place to take the family or to take someone on an inexpensive date. Make sure to buy a comic book and bottled root beer to enhance your experience.
No fries (yet) but the burgers FIRE
I absolutely loved this little treasure. The theme is beyond on point for this era. Its personal but secluded. This is a family owned business and everyone I met was beyond nice. I loved how the whole thing felt from ordering, to eating, to the owners checking to makes sure we were happy. Cant flipping wait to bring others with me so they can experience this amazing idea. We will be back Burger 51 . ππ½ππ½π
