We stopped at Pizza Rock thinking it was all take out. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the beautiful restaurant. There was immediate seating at the bar. Had excellent service and wonderful pasta. The side of bread was really good. The bartenders were super nice. Went back the following night and had the Detroit Style pizza which was so darn good. Eric was again the bartender and recognized us from the night before. Overall a fabulous experience and fabulous food.
Really great pie here. I got the New Yorker and asked if they could make the sauce spicy and they did. Really kicked it up a notch. Loved it. It was serendipitous the reason we came to eat here. I met One of their chefs on the Deuce who had left his phone at work and wanted to use mine to check on it. Shaved head guy with plenty of tats on it. Seemed like a nice enough guy on a bus i never been on in a place I've never been too.
I gave Pizza Rock 4 stars only because ordering by phone is not as convenient as it used to be. I tried calling in my order 2 days in a row and was left on hold forevaaaaaaa! However, I vented to the manager Colin! Great guy! Calm, professional, understanding and extremely empathetic. He truly made my entire Pizza Rock experience AWESOME! After being on hold for so long I was upset and despite my bad attitude he worked it out with me and made me feel like I was heard as a customer! The pizza is great and Colin is the best. You know what? I just tipped my 4 stars to 5! I shall return! Please note: Ordering on line works best but I was using a casino comp so I had to call. They are very busy so I wasn’t about to wait in line to order then wait again for the pizza!!!
One of the best pizza places in town. Great happy hour. Zucchini fries are the best we ever had, and the pizza was awesome. Only thing that could have made it better is if the zucchini fries came with the option of marinara sauce. Seeing how fantastic the service was they probably would have brought it if I had requested.
Don't waste your time. Ordered through a service and the food runner was there for over a half hour. Eventually they left. Another person went to pick it up and we finally got our pizza about 75 minutes later than it was expected. It was a simple order: 1 pizza and garlic cheese bread. The pizza was cold even though it was only a 10 minute drive, my guess is the restaurant let it sit around before handing it off. The quality of the pizza? Mediocre at best. There's nothing special about this place. And it showed up in a "Slice House" box, so maybe they've been bought out recently contributing to the poor service. Overall we've been impressed by the majority of Vegas eats. But this one? Again, don't waste your time. There's much better pizza in the area.
