Hands down the best food and service. Food is great but line is outrageous. You got to be there hours prior to opening but I say it's worth it. Spicy means spicy. Try the mild or lower. Service is top notch. Very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking g close by. Will be back again soon, for sure.
I’m currently trying to figure out how to report a restaurant to the health department and get them shut down. I used to work here, had to quit because not only are they not a legit operation (all of the employees are paid under the table, tax free) they don’t practice any food safety at all. They use no gloves, barely wash hands, masks are constantly either off or under chin, they use the same exact cutting board for chicken, fish, beef, and pretty much any other meat. I’ve personally witnessed the head “chef” cough into his hand, and then continue cooking without washing his hands. The manager has admitted to me personally that he has sex in the bathroom after hours (which literally never gets cleaned besides a little mopping here and there) Please don’t eat here if you care about your health or safety .
SIMPLY DIVINE.!!! Call in and ask about their secret soul food menu not listed here. The short ribs with pinto beans and greens, had my mouth singing a very happy song. This will be my stop every time I visit. Well done Chef Donnell and Manager Kevin. Your mama should definitely be proud.
It's inside the liquor store on the right. All of the food is home cooked and fresh. It's a hole in the wall but it's clean. I had the spare ribs with greens, and mac n cheese. The food is the bomb and worth the drive. This will now be my go to spot for Soul food in Las Vegas.
The food was all great!!!! First time here visiting from California. Shrimp and grits were delicious. Red snapper was seasoned and fried to perfection. Stupid fries are a definite favorite and the chicken and waffles were to die for. Waffle was perfect in texture and flavor. I ordered a lil bit of everything for the family to try and e everyone was sleep after lunch. Thank you for the excellent customer service as well. Definitely coming back.
