Grits were creamy like I like. Chicken crispy and juicy. IMO, I would have liked more seasoning on chicken, but I understand thats subjective. Tried to phone in reservations but was put on 20+ min hold. We decided to walk up and had 1+ hour wait, so decided to order to go. Food was hot and good. Recommend to call in advance for a great food experience.

Anytime we're out of town, we try and find the out of the way places to eat and this did not disappoint! A few miles off the strip but worth it. Chicken and waffles were excellent. Service was great. Price was right. Well done

I had take out! The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. The dining room is small looks like it can fit a max of 20 people. I ordered the Mississippi meal. I got 4 catfish fillets, two sides of my choice and bread but I declined the bread. I spent 20 dollars for 1 person without tip it would have been 17 dollars for my meal. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm from Chicago and I excepted a good size fillets. They had "skinny" small fish. To put in perspective if you're from Chicago and you go to a fish and chicken joint you can order two catfish fillets with fries and be full after. At Gritz Cafe I ordered 4 catfish fillets and I ate all four, fries and salad in 1 sitting. I am of a small body frame. Overall, the food is good you just have to order more food to get full. Note to management, the salad comes with cheese and egg I think you should ask if the customer wants dairy products on their salad for those with food sensitivities.

We wanted to get off the strip and experience some of Las Vegas. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! The food was amazing and the experience was awesome. We got there around 9am on Sunday morning. We were seated immediately although as we were leaving there was a line around the corner. Definitely recommend this little gem!

This place is really good good grits. Fried chicken was fried very well could have done a little more seasoning. turkey bacon and eggs my husband had both were great, the peach cobbler was good with a lot of crust how I like it, no big ol peaches. The wait was kinda crazy the price was kinda high for a small amount but I had no problem it was worth it
