I have been a customer for a long time. The pizza I had from this store was the best pizza I have had in a long time. It couldn't have been any better. Don't get me wrong, they are always great, but it was, I don't know why seemed different? Maybe it was just me?? The crust was perfect!, and just the right amount of sauce. 1st time for me at this new location. They have 4 locations now. I love Carmine's food!!!
We are new to the area, and we did a Google search, looking for good local pizza place close to our home. We happened to come upon Carmine's just up the street from our home. We decided to try it out. The staff and everyone was real friendly, not to mention... the pizza was delicious & the beer was ice cold. This locations is small and intimate, and reminds me of a little family owned Italian place we had back home many years ago when I was a kid. It's real nice to have found such a place like this again, as it brings back memories. We highly recommend Carmine's if you are looking for a little cozy Italian place with good food. .
Loved it! Remember going to Villa Pizza in the old Commercial Center back in the late 70's and everything was just as good now as back then. Tried the fried Ravioli, yum, nice and crispy on outside and cheesy on inside. Will definitely order this again. Ordered the large Carmine Special Pizza, crust was fantastic, nice and crispy all the way to the center, just like I like it and plenty to take home for later. Claudia took care of us very well and even brought a complimentary order of garlic knots. As they all said back in the 70's 'You gotta get there'
Great servers and food. I was treated great by the cook/chef and the cashier/waitress. Great lunch deal for a fair price.
We got the Sicilian pizza, garlic knots and am antipasto salad. The salad was the best part, which is very disappointing. The pizza was almost inedible. All I could taste was rancid oil. I couldn't taste tomato or pepperoni over the horrible taste of that crust. Maybe their regular pizza is better? I had one slice and that may be the only slice I eat Garlic knots were dry and pretty burnt. I am not a picky eater and I was disappointed.
